CLIP: Independent Health Foundation program fights heroin epidemic

Independent Health Foundation’s High School Student Ambassador Program in Buffalo received $50,000 in state funds to help fight the heroin epidemic. The program invites students to attend conferences and school-based activities that encourage student ambassadors to support their peers and local communities. Independent Health Foundation partners with Western New York United Against Drug and Alcohol Abuse and provides resources for students to overcome risky behaviors. (NBC WGRZ)
