Workplace Wellness Programs Can Generate Savings
- An analysis on workplace wellness programs finds that medical costs decrease by about $3.27 for every dollar spent on these programs. It also finds absenteeism costs decrease by about $2.73 for every dollar spent.
- These findings suggest that adoption of workplace disease prevention and wellness programs could produce health outcomes such as financial benefits and productivity.
