UCare is expanding the service area of its Medicaid-only UCare Connect Special Needs BasicCare (SNBC) offering from 42 to 62 Minnesota counties starting in July. SNBC is a voluntary managed care program for people ages 18 to 64 with certified disabilities. Members do not pay premiums to use the program.
UCare has won Gold and Silver awards in the 2016 Aster Awards competition, a health care marketing contest recognizing creativity and professionalism in advertising. The My UCare Mobile App won the gold award in the mobile app category, and the 2014 Report to the Community received silver in the annual report category.
