Pop-up goMobile Clinics Go into the Community to Provide Help Navigating Medicaid, Other Services

05/29/2015 | CareOregon
CareOregon and five partners — Central City Concern, Multnomah County Health Department, Planned Parenthood, Native American Youth Association and Coalition of Community Health Clinics — have launched an ongoing series of health care-related customer service clinics for Medicaid-eligible residents at locations throughout the community.

The goMobile effort, as CareOregon calls this initiative, offers a variety of social supports, practical help and direct Oregon Health Plan (OHP) navigation, starting with OHP assisters who check eligibility and enroll attendees in Medicaid, Medicare or commercial insurance.
