A Kaiser Permanente study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine finds that health plan members who receive health information online and are aware of potential gaps in care are more likely to access preventive tests and screenings than those who do not. These online web-based systems provide access to personalized health information and preventive screening recommendations via email.
