Kaiser to Use Database to Find Cures for Disease

Kaiser Permanente has collected donated information on California patients’ DNA and medical information since 2008, and plans to expand the data collection across the country.  Andrea K. McDaniels reports The information will become part of the national Kaiser Research Bank to aid studies for cures and treatments of chronic disease, and will offer a broader look at the effects of a disease on a variety of patients.
