Kaiser Permanente Walk and Wheel Grants Help Communities be Bike, Pedestrian Friendly

Kaiser Permanente Colorado has awarded nine Colorado communities more than $865,000 in grants to help design safer, healthier and more accessible transportation options. This funding will help create ways for Coloradans to travel around town on foot or by bike.

The grants are part of Kaiser Permanente’s Walk and Wheel grant program, designed to engage Colorado communities in the creation of safe environments that foster access to a variety of healthy ways to commute.
