Kaiser Permanente Recognized for its Commitment to Ending Domestic Violence

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and Kaiser Permanente was recently recognized by the Peace Over Violence organization with the Verizon Wireless Hopeline Corporate Humanitarian Award for its longstanding commitment to ending domestic violence and its support and leadership in the NO MORE Campaign. According to a survey sponsored by the NO MORE campaign, 149 million Americans know a victim of domestic violence or sexual assault, 54 million Americans report they have been a victim of domestic violence and 32 million Americans report they have been a victim of sexual assault. Kaiser Permanente has shown its ongoing support of the NO MORE campaign since its launch in 2013.
