Kaiser Permanente and Netherlands’ Radboud University Medical Center Team Up to Improve Parkinson’s Care

Kaiser Permanente is collaborating with Radboud University Medical Center to deliver care to Kaiser Permanente patients with Parkinson’s disease. Kaiser Permanente will implement Radboud’s “ParkinsonNet” for patients and caregivers who manage the disease. ParkinsonNet will be tested first in Kaiser Permanente’s Southern California region, which has more than 7,000 Parkinson’s patients. Based on results of the pilot, the program may be used in other Kaiser Permanente regions and the model possibly applied to other chronic conditions.
