Kaiser Permanente Hawaii’s Moanalua Medical Center Gets Top Marks from American Heart Association

Kaiser Permanente’s Moanalua Medical Center in Hawaii has received the Get With the Guidelines Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award for 2014 from the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, the highest level of recognition. Hospitals receiving the award have demonstrated 85 percent or higher compliance to best-practice standards of care and 75 percent compliance with 7 out of 10 stroke quality measures during a 12-month period. This is the fourth consecutive year the Moanalua Center has been honored with the award.
