Kaiser Permanente Employees and Physicians Prepare to Volunteer on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

From distributing warm clothing to the homeless to making superhero capes for hospitalized children, thousands of Kaiser Permanente volunteers will honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Jan. 19 by serving in the community as part of the organization’s 11th annual MLK Day of Service — A Day ON, Not a Day Off. In 2014, close to 6,000 Kaiser Permanente volunteers worked on a variety of projects in 116 community sites across the country serving 87,000 community members.
