Kaiser Permanente Designed A Health Center That Puts Patients First

Adam Bluestein describes Kaiser Permanente’s new health center in Manhattan Beach, California, which is designed to foster a patient-centered, design-driven approach to medicine. The amenities strive to increase patient comfort and include leather exam chairs, automated check-in kiosks and text messages alerting customers when their doctor is ready. Kaiser Permanente plans to open 10 similar offices in California over the next 18 months.
