Kaiser Permanente Delivers $1 Million to Aid in Ebola Relief

Kaiser Permanente announced it has made charitable contributions totaling $1 million to two partner agencies for West Africa Ebola relief; $500,000 went to Doctors Without Borders to support the treatment and isolation of patients and training of health workers locally and in Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The remaining finances went to International Medical Corps to fund the creation and operation of two roving teams of trainers to expand the number of health care workers and ensure the safety of patients, health workers and Ebola Treatment Unit staff.
