HealthPartners Hospitals Earn Recognition for Quality, Safety

Three HealthPartners hospitals have been recognized for quality and safety in new reports. Regions Hospital, Hudson Hospital and Lakeview Hospital have been recognized for delivering the best care for certain conditions 95 percent of the time or more in The Joint Commission’s Top Performer on Key Quality Measures report. For the second year in a row, Regions was recognized for delivering the highest quality care in four areas (heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia and surgical care) in the Joint Commission report. Lakeview and Hudson hospitals were recognized for high quality surgical care.

In addition, Regions earned a grade “A” in the fall 2013 update to the Hospital Safety Score, which rates how well hospitals protect patients from accidents, errors, injuries and infections. The Hospital Safety Score is compiled under the guidance of the nation’s leading experts on patient safety and is administered by The Leapfrog Group.
