Group Health Congratulates Dr. David Grossman on Task Force Role

David C. Grossman, M.D., M.P.H., Group Health Research Institute senior investigator and Group Health pediatrician and medical director for preventive care and population strategy, has been appointed vice chair of the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force. Dr. Grossman was appointed to this position by the director of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), and his term will begin in March 2015.

The Task Force is an independent, volunteer panel of national experts in prevention and evidence-based medicine. Members come from many health-related fields, including internal medicine, family medicine, pediatrics, behavioral health, obstetrics/gynecology and nursing.
