Independent Health is holding three “Good for the Neighborhood” events on Oct. 8, 16 and 23 at various locations in the Buffalo, N.Y. area. This month, participants will learn about the importance of building a relationship with their primary doctor and how to do so. They are encouraged to bring a list of their medications to talk about with a pharmacist. The event will also feature a free farmers market with fresh fruits and vegetables, a healthy cooking demonstration and healthy food samples. In addition, participants can obtain free health screenings for blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol and body mass index.
ACHP and our members improve the health of the communities we serve and actively lead the transformation of health care to promote high-quality, affordable care and superior customer service.
