Foundation Seeks to Fund Programs That Help Older Adults Live Healthier Lives

The Tufts Health Plan Foundation announced this week that it is accepting letters of inquiry for its Cycle 1, 2014 Healthy Aging grants program. The deadline for submission is Friday, Jan. 10, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. EST.

Each year, in two separate grant cycles, the Tufts Health Plan Foundation awards numerous grants to Massachusetts and Rhode Island non-profit organizations focused on improving the lives of older adults, age 60+. Since the foundation began focusing its grantmaking on healthy aging, it has given nearly $12 million to nonprofits that elevate the physical, mental and emotional well-being of older adults and their caregivers.
