Film Shows Heroism, Heartbreak at St. Paul Clinic

The new documentary American Heart profiles the work of the medical staff at the HealthPartners’ Center for International Health in St. Paul, Minn. The 35-year-old clinic was originally established to care for the new Southeastern Asian refugee community; today it also provides physical and mental health care to Russians, Ethiopians, Somali, Liberians, Bhutanese, Nepali and Karen-speaking Burmese.
