Fallon Health and its Community Benefits Grants Program fund new or existing innovative, not-for-profit, community-based programs throughout the state of Massachusetts. This year, Fallon distributed grants to ten organizations. Recipients were chosen based on four areas of focus as identified by Fallon’s Needs Assessment Committee. These programs: promote opportunities for “at risk”/”proven risk” youth and young adults between the ages of 12 and 21; improve access to good nutrition and/or promote physical activity; focus on preventive health and social services for seniors; and provide services to support individuals with behavioral and/or mental health issues. Recipients include the Abby Kelley Foster Home, Providence Ministries for the Needy and Springfield Day Nursery.
ACHP and our members improve the health of the communities we serve and actively lead the transformation of health care to promote high-quality, affordable care and superior customer service.
