Manager of Innovation Programs (Full-Time, Exempt)

Location:           Downtown Washington, DC


Position Summary

The Manager of Innovation Programs position requires a high-energy, detail-oriented and enthusiastic individual interested in facilitating health care-related learning, performance improvement and policy positioning among ACHP’s member organizations.  To be successful in this position, a candidate must be highly self-directed.

The successful candidate will lead and coordinate projects in ACHP’s Learning and Innovation areas including managing and facilitating online learning sessions, coordinating event promotion, facilitating online workgroups, and potentially leading in-person meetings as needed. In addition, this position will be responsible for managing member benchmarking and improvement projects. 

Requirements

The successful candidate will assist ACHP’s senior staff in developing programs and policies designed to improve health care in the United States by facilitating member learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Master’s degree in public policy, health care administration, public health, or business administration desired.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, preferably in a health care setting.
  • The ability to express complex ideas in simple terms and presentations, and clear, well-crafted written reports
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
