ACHP Welcomes New Member AultCare
Washington, D.C. (September 5, 2017) – The Alliance of Community Health Plans (ACHP) is growing its network of nonprofit, community-based, provider-aligned health plans. The organization announced that AultCare Health Insurance Plans, the Aultman Health Foundation service-oriented health plan, has joined ACHP as its newest member.
Established in 1985 and based in Canton, Ohio, AultCare provides high-quality, cost-effective health plans to Northeast Ohio. With a 93 percent member retention rate, the plan is committed to strong customer service. For plan year 2017, AultCare’s Medicare Advantage plan, PrimeTime Health Plan, received 5 out of 5 stars from CMS. Medicare evaluates plans based on a 5-Star Rating system. Star Ratings are calculated each year and may change from one year to the next. U.S. News and World Report also recognized PrimeTime Health Plan as one of the best Medicare Advantage plans in Ohio. (This award is not endorsed or affiliated with CMS.) ACHP looks forward to working with AultCare to further its mission of leading their community to improved health. “We are very excited to have AultCare join as our newest member,” said ACHP President and CEO Ceci Connolly. “AultCare’s commitment to serving its community aligns with the deep roots our members have in the region where they operate.”
“ACHP provides innovative health plan leadership to groups that are similar to AultCare. We value the opportunity to partner with health plans and provider groups that share our mission and vision from a regional standpoint,” shared AultCare President and CEO Rick Haines. Haines will serve on the ACHP Board of Directors.
