ACHP Names Andrew Schwab Chief of Advocacy

The Alliance of Community Health Plans (ACHP) has named Andrew Schwab Chief of Advocacy. In this new role, Schwab’s principal responsibility will be to expand and strengthen ACHP’s efforts to achieve our public policy objectives. He will be a key part of our team in developing and implementing policy strategy and external communications.

“With a new Congress and administration taking office in just a few months, we are thrilled to have someone with Andrew’s experience to lead our lobbying efforts,” says ACHP President and CEO Ceci Connolly.

Schwab comes to ACHP from AARP, for whom he served as Senior Legislative Representative since 2013. Prior to his time with AARP, he was Chief of Staff for New Jersey Assembly member Gary S. Schaer and Deputy Press Secretary for U.S. Senator Jon Corzine (D-NJ). Schwab earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Syracuse University and a Masters of Public Administration from Rutgers University.
