“We are excited to welcome AvMed as our newest member,” said ACHP President and CEO Ceci Connolly. “AvMed’s consumer-focused mission makes the plan well-qualified to join us as we lead the way in health care innovation to provide the highest-quality, evidence-based, affordable care.”

Miami-based AvMed covers more than 345,000 lives across Florida and received a rating of 4 out of 5 for both its commercial and Medicare plans in the National Committee for Quality Assurance’s (NCQA) Health Insurance Plan Ratings 2015–2016 and 4 of 5 stars in the 2015 Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Star Ratings.
